Teacher Presentation: Substitute for Isaiah Kraus
Classroom management: students mainly sat around one central Table with a couple sitting off in the corners.
Materials: Three little pigs handout, white board, dry erase markers, projector
Student participation: Students read out loud, asked about words they struggled with, shared folktales from home country and performed a skit at the end.
Feedback provided: He went over the vocabulary words with students and corrected pronunciation both as the read to the class and while in small groups.
Lessons on teaching you learned: I learned the importance of trying to relate the lesson to something students have some sort of familiarity with to bring them out of their shell and really get them involved in the lesson.
