Feedback provided to tutee: Students writing seemed overly formal
Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: As this was our first time meeting our talks were mostly revolved around getting to know each other and understanding what we each were hoping to accomplish from our time working together. After that Ali gave me a writing assignment that he had to turn in soon. I went over it with him and told him that everything in his writing was strongly supported. However, the way he introduced sentences and some of his word choices made caused for things to flow awkwardly at times.
