Cultural and/or linguistic topics you and your partner learned: Mutaz was curious to what I liked to do and eat while in Tallahassee, which led to a conversation about how despite me living in Florida most of my life he was way more familiar with Florida and its attractions than I. Mutaz told me about his experiences going to the various amusement parks and attractions in Florida and how they compared to the ones in Saudi Arabia. Also during this conversation he learned “aquarium’ as a new vocabulary world, which surprised since he was familiar with both America’s SeaWorld and one in his home country.
