Location: My house
Topic discussed: Maddie, Amal, and Zainab came over to my place while my
friends and I cooked dinner. I made bruschetta and caprese while my friend made
the main course. The girls hadn’t ever had either and they seemed to love it,
based off the face that the asked for seconds haha. It was fun because they got
to hear my friends talk about stories that have happened to us and we also got
to hear stories from them.
Cultural and/or linguistic topics you and your partner learned: Two of
my friends there were having a glass of wine while we were cooking and eating
and offered one to Amal and she stated how she didn’t drink, which I knew. What
I didn’t know was that it was because of her religion which I found very
interesting.
