provided to tutee: We worked on his discussion boards again. He seems to be
having less and less grammatical errors. Sometimes he'll have questions about a
sentence and while it is grammatically correct, he states how he wants to sound
like a native talker so asks me for tips how to do so. We had been texting one
day about our sessions and I said "we'll figure it out next week" and
had to explain to him what "we'll figure it out" meant and he wanted
to learn more phrases like that.

about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: When Sanghoon asked me about tips
to talk more like a native it got me thinking, what makes the way I talk different
than a second language learner, and it is a hard question to answer.
