Topic/Skill: Speaking
Teacher Presentation: Sana was substituting for Kyle and it was more of
a teacher centered style class
Classroom Management: The students were split up into desks that had two
people at each
Materials: White board and projector
Student Participation: Sana started the lesson by going over their
beautiful mistakes from their homework assignment. The students then worked on their
presentations that they had due next week. They had an outline that was about
their presentation that they had to fill out and turn in.
Feedback Provided: I think it was a little different because Sana was substituting
so it was her class to have too much control over but I had a good time because
I got to talk with a lot of the students about their presentations.
Lesson(s) on teaching you learned: It is okay to have the students work
on their own and the teacher doesn’t have to talk the whole time.
