Tutoring session with Bumsoo 5-11-16
I completed my first tutoring session with Bumsoo today and
we met at Starbucks across from CIES. Bumsoo is a student from South Korea
getting his doctorate in Sports Management. His English speaking ability is
pretty good and he wants to work more on his writing and his paraphrasing of
ideas. Our first meeting was just getting to know each other and talking about
what he wants to work on. We made up a schedule and talked about what kind of
things we will work on when we have tutoring time together. He seems motivated
and I don’t think we will have any problems working together or him not showing
up.
