provided to tutee:We discussed about the way to be confident in speaking second language. Jesse tried to continue our conversation when I'm stuck or lack of confidence. I felt getting more comfortable in speaking English with her. She also introduced me some terms and idioms.
Lesson(s) about
tutoring and/or the tutee you learned:I learned that it is not easy to gain confidence unless you practice a lot. Jesse shared her experience learning Spanish, and some of her classes were not helpful for fluency in Speaking. I learned that when I teach English as a second language, I need to get students practice in a way they can gain confidence.
