Breanna TS #7

Date/Time: 5/18/16 3:00 PM

Location: CIES

Topic/Skill: Past tense irregular verbs

Feedback provided to tutee: My feedback for Diana during this session was very limited. She is getting much more confident in her skills and knowledge of past tense irregular verbs. We mostly went over the past tense irregular verbs that would be used most commonly in regular English conversation. These included words such as ate, came, did, gave, got, made, saw, went, was/were, etc. She had a lot of trouble differentiating between do/did, so we worked on those a decent bit during this lesson, and I intend to are focus on that more during our next session.

Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: I realized in this session just how good of listening skills Diana has. She can comprehend most of the things I say, she rarely asks me to repeat myself or rephrase the things I say. Additionally I have learned that Diana learns best by speaking. This knowledge is going to change the way I approach our next lesson.
