Emily CP #5
Mengtain and I met up again to chat and this time I choose
the restaurant. She wanted to meet up for lunch so I suggested Blaze pizza. She
said she liked pizza and I love Blaze and I thought she would too. I helped her with some proninciation as we went down the line ordering our pizza. Today we
talked about differences between China and America like when you go out to eat
in the US you leave a tip for the server, but in China you do not leave tips.
Mengtain also had questions for me like “how do you order food in the line at
Subway” and “how do you call to complain about something.” I tried my best to
answer all of her questions and I was able to record my answers for her on her
cellphone so she had a recording to reference when she needed it.
