Topic/Skill: Astronaut's Diary / Reading, using Context Clues, Writing
Feedback provided to tutee: P.J. learned new words and practiced finding their meaning using context clues. He also wrote a diary entry, and I gave him feedback about capitalization, apostrophes, and using correct wording.
Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: I learned that writing the diary entry was very effective because though P.J. normally doesn't like to write, he enjoyed writing about himself and his own experiences. I was able to give him good writing feedback based off of the activity.
