Topic discussed: College life & Future plans
Cultural and/or linguistic topics you and your partner learned: We talked and discussed our future plans after the potluck and how we felt about English teaching and the course. I learned that Ju Yoon decided to stay longer in America and pursue her studies here when she previously wanted to go back to Korea. She really enjoyed the class here and learned a lot, as did I. We talked about the feminism movement in Korea and noticed some similarities to the movement here in America too. I told her how I plan to go to law school next year.
