Topic/Skill: Main idea and supporting details
Feedback provided to tutee: Now that we focused in on an issue directly David was getting much better at recognizing the main idea and supporting details.
Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: During the lesson we used worksheets for David to read through and identify the main topic of the article and all of the supporting details. To test to see if this lesson actually did help him improve from last week I provided David with a new timed topic, this time writing about his favorite you tuber. This time around he was much better at supporting his ideas.
