Feedback provided to tutee: Students were told to use the words they had trouble with, write the definition and use it in a sentence before our next tutoring session.
Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: For this lesson I had originally planned to start reading a book with David that we could continue to read together throughout our sessions. However at the last second, I was informed that I would be tutoring both of the twins and though I tried to keep my lesson the same I quickly learned that working with both of the boys it would be impossible to get them to focus. Instead, I used a pack of flash cards that Matthew had in his backpack and worked off of their competitive nature to get them to play a game where they would buzz in to spell the word. If they both incorrectly spelled the word I gave them a chance to earn a half a point back from the point they lost if they correctly defined the word.
