provided to tutee: I made sure to keep checking comprehension or words, phrases or the dialogue by asking simple questions
Lessons learned: So for my last session with Zainab I didn't want it to be boring with reading the slow progressing book so I decided we could watch movie clips and I could test her listening. I showed her "The Night Before" because it's a funny movie and I wanted to show her some aspect of American party culture. She did pretty well and we had good laughs. We also took a picture together and I think I successfully convinced her in deciding to come back to FSU to continue her education.
