Our conversation was mostly about Hamad's impending trip home. He'll be in Kuwait for the first time in 6 months! And he's really excited to go back and see his family. He's surprising them. They don't know he's coming home, but his sister is going to help him surprise his parents, which I think is sweet. We talked about his future plans. He'll be going to Alabama in the fall to study chemical engineering. He'll be living with his brother. However, Hamad's really going to miss Tallahassee. He's made a lot of friends here through CIES, but he plans on coming back to visit them. Hamad's very open to new cultures, and loves trying different types of foods. He's made a lot of his friends by going out to eat with them and connecting with them in that way, which I think is really cool.
