Feedback provided to the tutee: he did an excellent job on his math final and we now should preview 5th grade math material.
Lessons learned about tutoring/tutee: He seems to like having a safety net. He was upset when he did not have a conversion chart before attempting the problems I had rewritten from his text book. He also claimed to not remember several terms and conversions despite receiving a 96% on his math final, curious. Once he did have his chart at hand though, he solved all the problems easily. My goal this session was to cement what we had worked on and practice word problems and I think that part went well.
