Date/Time: June 9th 6-7:30 pm
Location: Leon county public library main branch
Topic/skill: speaking, comparing the political systems of the United States and the PRC/Macau
Feedback provided to the tutee: His grammar and word usage were very good, and he learned many new words and concepts in English related to the presidential elections and functions of the Congress
Lessons learned about tutoring/tutee: this was an excellent example of an informational gap that can be exploited for speaking/listening practice. The "One state, two systems" approach is a touch euphemized and Beijing can greatly affect the economy of Macau, and my tutee owns a restaurant in Macau that I can get a free meal at :)
