Topic/Skill: Past tense irregular verbs/exercise and shopping
Feedback provided to tutee: This session was very similar
to last session. I once again organized the past tense irregular verbs in a
series of categories related to topics. The topics included exercise, using the
irregular verbs: hit, hurt, ran, swam, threw, bled, caught, and fell, and
shopping using the irregular verbs: brought, chose, paid, sold, took, got, and
hung. She told me about her exercise routine and about playing sports on the
beach. She also told me about her and her husband having to return a product to
Sephora.
Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: Diana did really well in this session with using a larger amount of words. I wanted
to challenge her with more words to choose from in comparison to the last time,
and she was able to do it. It was challenging at first for her, but she was
able to accomplish it by the end of the session.
