Emily CO #2
I observed a CIES advanced reading class. Like the first class I observed the teacher wrote the agenda on the board at the beginning of class. In the class the students had vocabulary logs with words from their readings were defined and used in sentences. I could tell this was helpful for the students. The students talked about ideas in the article and answered reading comprehension questions. The students did some pair work and then answered main idea reading comprehension questions individually then reviewed as a class.
