Feedback provided to tutee: The last session with the reading passages went well and I decided to try it out again and with a more difficult passage since he said one of them last time was very easy. I had him read a passage about Damon and Pyhtias that I found online, but he struggled with starting the explanation of the story. I let him read it again and he still struggled saying that the words were not difficult but it was hard since so much was happening. So we broke it down to each paragraph and whenever we came to a word he did not know I taught him it and gave example sentences, and he was able to explain each paragraph separately much better.

Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: I learned that Jun does not like to work on difficult things and would much prefer a lesson that is easy, but I think it was good that this activity challenged him, especially since speaking and describing things is his weak point. When we broke down each paragraph he did really well, and I think it taught him to take everything by little chunks when he struggles with it. Hopefully next time he will try the same technique and apply it to his learning.
