Topic discussed: Cultural exchange workshop: family relations
Cultural and/or linguistic topics you and your partner learned: I was interviewed by two Group 4 students, one from Saudi Arabia and one from Thailand. The student from Saudi Arabia stated that when he is home, he sees his extended family every weekend because they are extremely close. However, the pattern for the student from Thailand was similar to my own, only seeing the extended family gathered four or five times a year. They both seemed to have large families when compared with mine, which is relatively small.
