Topic/Skill: Idioms/Speaking and Listening
Feedback provided to tutee: I taught Juyoon new idioms like "feeling under the weather" and "hitting the road." We also practiced her speaking in English and engaged in conversation.
Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: I learned that Juyoon is very familiar with a lot of idioms from songs and movies, but there were several that she had never heard of! I learned more about how important it is to focus on idioms with very advanced English speakers.
