Topic/Skill: Essay Accuracy
Feedback provided to tutee: Kwangho had written a research paper as a final project for one of his classes on "Ethnocentrism." I assisted him with strict focus on grammatical mistakes, sentence structure, and use of vocabulary. The "writing correction symbols" sheet gave me great assistance in guiding Kwangho in correcting his mistakes in the paper.
Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: Kwangho is at an advanced level where he can read, write, speak and understand English pretty well but it is definitely not at a mastered level yet. He has many "beautiful mistakes" in his speech and writing especially, but has most of the grammatical points figured out.
