Topic/Skill: Speaking and Listening
Feedback provided to tutee: I went over another one of Fadia's outline for her speaking recording, and it was much more detailed and structured than the other ones she had the other day. I only made minor grammatical mistakes, but her ideas were sufficient. We also went over a listening video that she was given on Bb to listen over to prepare for a quiz soon.
Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: Fadia is already showing a lot of improvement just from practicing more and getting more detailed feedback. Her listening video was 5 minutes long and extremely fast and difficult to follow so i had her take notes on keywords and details while pausing the video after every 30 seconds so it was easier to process. It was extremely helpful for her because the first time she could barely comprehend anything.
