Topic Discussed: We talked about all sorts of things, seeing as we were just becoming acquainted with one another. My conversation partner, Hamad, is from Kuwait, so we talked about where he was from, the hardest things about transitioning to the states (which, for him, was lack of Arabic food haha). We also talked about soccer for a while, since he loves to play.
Cultural topics you and your partner learned: I learned that Kuwait is pretty a very developed country, and that they're pretty globalized so the transition for Hamad, coming to the states, wasn't as difficult as I first thought. A lot of the chain restaurants here, they have in Kuwait.
