Cultural and/or linguistic topics you and your partner learned: We talked about informal phrases that are commonly used with friends in both Spanish and English. Some phrases that my conversation partner had heard but didn't understand include, "let's head out", "let's hang out", and "see you around". We also discussed the types of food we like and the differences between American-Mexican food and authentic Mexican food.
