Topic/Skill: This was Sanghoon's and I first session together so I used this time to assess him and see what level he was at with English. We talked and I got to know him while also seeing how well his English was. He stated that he wanted to work on his speaking and writing.
Feedback provided to the tutee: Even though he didn't think so, his English was really good. He spoke pretty fluently, only get caught on certain words.
Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: I learned that tutoring a child and tutoring an adult were gonna be two completely different scenarios and I would have to come up with different tactics for each.
