Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: Tutoring children presents a special challenge when compared to tutoring adults. Adults approach tutoring with specific goals and questions in mind, whereas children don’t know where their weak areas are located and the tutor must be pay close attention. in addition, this becomes a challenge when the tutor has had limited interaction with children, the question becomes about whether an issue that presents itself is due to a weak area of the child or merely an issue of having not advanced to a particular stage yet.
